I am a Gillette native, born in 1973 and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1992 and Jamestown College, North Dakota in 1997.  I am a proud husband and father.  My wife Toni of 24 years is owner of A.B.C. CPA, PC an accounting firm in Gillette.  My oldest son Bowen, is a student at Montana Tech University and my youngest son Blake is a sophomore at Campbell County High School.  My hobbies include hunting, fishing (especially bowfishing) and spending time with family and friends.

I have been a small business owner is Gillette since 2006.  I own Rusty’s Taxidermy one of the largest taxidermy studios in Northeastern Wyoming.  My wife and I are also partners in other businesses in Gillette, including allDimension Fitness Center, Coffee Beanery, Grinners Bar and Liquor and The Axehouse.

I love serving my community.  Currently, I am completing my 8th year as a Campbell County Commissioner.  I am a Republican and was elected in 2014 and in 2018.   I am currently the Co-Chair of the Governors Council for Impaired Driving, and the Co-Chair for the the Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce.  I am on the Business Advocacy Committee for the Chamber of Commerce and I have been the Co-Chair of the Revenue Committee for the Wyoming County Commissioners Association since 2017.

Our community has gone through many challenges during my tenure.  A few of our accomplishments as a Commissioners are: implementation of the 24/7 Program in Campbell County; landfill remediation, property acquisition and relocation; develop Department of Energy partnerships and relationships; formation of the Gillette Community College District; implementation of Tyler Technologies; implementation of the Carbon Valley Initiative; and our continued to advocacy for local businesses and mineral extraction industries.
